Thought I had wax in my ears , went for a suction , after a very professional consult/ examination I had a hearing test which showed I had a hearing loss in one ear . I’m now sporting a virtually invisible hearing aid . Kinau is great , made the process very easy and I can definitely notice the difference

It took the audiologist 5 seconds to remove a wax that was stuck in my ears for couple weeks which made me think I was going to be partially deaf. Highly recommended. I can hear clearly now that the wax is gone. I will go back again if an issue like this arises in the future.

I took my 12 yr old son to see Kinau for an earwax removal and we were all (including my 5yr old son) blown away with Kinau and the service we received. Very warm and welcoming, professional and accommodated my 5yr olds how many questions 🥴 Thank you Kinau, Devon couldn’t stop talking about how nice you were to all of us, and how cool his big blob of earwax (yuck) were and that he’s gonna take them to school to show his friends 😂 thanks so much again for today, really appreciate you, the lollipops and your service.

some time ago i realised that my hearing was getting worse so i decided to go on the internet and find the cheapest hearing aid. Absolutely the wrong move. I did purchase one and have had plenty of issues with it but have been unable to contact anyone for help and was just about ready to give up. Then i found Kinau at Hearing by Design. After making my first appointment and spending time with Kinau, i found her to be extremely professional and so easy to talk to about my concerns regarding hearing aids. I purchased my hearing aids from her and if i do have any concerns, Kinau is only just a phone call away and so helpful in putting my mind at ease. I wish that i had found Kinau earlier. Kinau is very friendly and very professional. My ear was blocked a few weeks ago from wearing ear plugs and it took a while to clear. Decided to get my ear wax cleaned here and now it feels so much better. Will definitely come back again.

I extremely grateful for being referred to Hearing by Design from my Doctors rooms. Im extremely happy with the outcome i had pain in the ear and couldnt hear properly. By the Time i was finished my appointment i could hear clearly unfortunately my pain was probably self-inflicted by me trying to clear my ear prior. Im no professional and i would have done further harm. Thank you so much to Kinau Venter for the professional help and advice. All advice in regards to ear pain was clear and fully understood. I won't hesitate to return in the furture. And for anyone wanting someone extremely gentle this is definitely the place to come. Large number of good reviews prompted me to seek help here but I was ultimately disappointed with the outcome. Initial appointment resulted in no help to my clogged ear, I was given instructions how to proceed which I followed to a T but led to no improvement either. Once I provided feedback, was told to seek help elsewhere. I was, however, charged a full fee for ear wax removal.

Huge shout out to Kinau at “Hearing by Design” for rescuing my hearing.. had problems with my ear/hearing for almost two years & today I went in and she pulled out a piece of an acrylic nail. My daughter and I went for an appointment wax removal after trying numerous off the shelf remedies with not so much success. Kinau made the whole process so easy to the point it wasn't as invasive as other media made it out to be. Feeling refreshed with better balance is going to make my job easier as a Sports coach. Kinau provides a professional and in depth service, and was so lovely throughout my appointment. She clearly explains each step of the hearing test process and what she is looking for, and what you might experience at different points during the appointment. She is so knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout our session. Kinau is an excellent audiologist. I saw her while experiencing a great deal of ear pain and discomfort. She did ear suctioning and then identified the likely cause of my pain, and explained everything with reference to a diagram of the ear canal.
